New innovation platform for connected industrial and logistics ecosystems goes live on February 18
Eschweiler, February 18, 2026 – Together with its cooperation partner Hammer Advanced Logistics, management consultancy Detecon today announces the launch of the Hyperconnectivity Campus (HCC) – a real-world innovation platform for connected industrial and logistics ecosystems. Located at the Hammer Advanced Logistics Campus in Eschweiler, the HCC brings together technology, processes, and partnerships in an integrated environment designed to translate digital transformation into operational reality.
The Hyperconnectivity Campus serves as a space for applied innovation. It enables companies, technology partners, and research institutions to test digital solutions under real operational conditions, develop use cases, and scale business models in an industrial setting.
Key focus areas include data-driven applications, AI-based optimization, digital twins, as well as resilient and sustainable supply chains. The objective is to significantly shorten innovation cycles and accelerate the deployment of ecosystem-driven solutions from concept to execution.
“For us as a logistics company, it is essential that innovation does not remain confined to the lab but can be integrated and scaled within real operational processes,” says Tim Hammer, CEO of Hammer Advanced Logistics. “The Hyperconnectivity Campus enables digital solutions to be tested directly in an industrial environment, creating measurable value in terms of efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.”
“With the Hyperconnectivity Campus, we are creating a platform where innovation can be implemented under real operational conditions.“ explains Christian Maasem, Hyperconnectivity Expert at Detecon. “Our ambition is to develop, validate, and scale both existing and emerging technologies together with ecosystem partners – delivering measurable business impact”.
