FAQs on the IREB CPRE Foundation training courses.
Do I need prior RE experience?
No. There are no formal prerequisites. Some experience with projects, products, processes or systems development will, however, help you apply the knowledge and relate it to the examples. While IREB training courses usually take three days, we cover the same content in a focused two-day format for professionals with busy schedules.
Is a training course required for the exam?
No. IREB does not require candidates to attend a training course before taking the exam. However, attending a training and studying the official learning materials are recommended as preparation.
Is the exam held after the training course?
No. After completing the training, you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed with our certification partner. You can then take the remotely proctored online exam independently at a time that suits you. The exam must be completed within the period specified when the voucher is issued, which is one year from the voucher’s issue date. No voucher will be issued if your training booking has been cancelled, irrespective of whether the cancellation deadline was met.
Can companies book a private group training course?
Tailored in-house and virtual training courses are available on request. Please contact us for tailored group pricing.
Which language is the training course taught in?
German. English is available on request.
