About Dr. Wolfgang Knospe

Wolfgang advises active network operators on a global and regional scale, focusing on RAN and 5G setups. Additionally he manages strategic projects for network operators and consults on cost modeling based on progressive business cases. 

His expertise includes the strategic, technical, and commercial assessment of modern mobile networks, with a focus on 5G and cloudification in the access network. 

Wolfgang studied at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, and holds a PhD in Physics.
