About Oliver Grotius
Oliver Grotius specializes in digital transformation and data integration in healthcare. He supports hospitals, laboratories, medical practices and other healthcare organizations in designing scalable data architectures, optimizing software ecosystems and enabling efficient data exchange across clinical and administrative systems. Oliver Grotius develops digital strategies and translates them into concrete implementation programs, helping healthcare organizations strengthen their IT capabilities and successfully implement digital innovation.
For more than 25 years, Oliver Grotius has been advising organizations across the healthcare sector as a senior expert for digital transformation, data integration and IT strategy. Since joining Detecon four years ago, he has been responsible for building and expanding the company’s healthcare sector. Before entering consulting, Oliver Grotius led a 45-person software development organization at Limbach Gruppe SE. Prior to that, as Head of IT at Labor Berlin – Charité Vivantes GmbH, he was responsible for the technical consolidation and integration of eleven laboratory IT environments of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Vivantes – Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH, creating one of the largest integrated laboratory IT platforms in Europe.
Oliver Grotius holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from FH Aachen – University of Applied Sciences. His thesis focused on the detection of micrometastases in hematopoietic tissues.
