About Dr. Rainer Weidmann
As a widely recognized expert, Rainer advises many well-known companies on data center issues, from data center strategy and data center assessments to technical design and operational issues as well as data center consolidation.
He has been dedicated to sustainability and green IT for 20 years.
For 35+ years of IT and data center experience he is considered one of the few experts who combine IT expertise as a background with the specific requirements for highly available data center infrastructures.
He is an appointed member in the standardization for data centers and he is an appointed member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s examination committees for IT professions and the expert committee for sworn IT experts.
Rainer holds a university degree in physics (Dipl. Phys. univ.) and a doctor of physics (Dr. rer. nat.).
