About Christian Maasem
Christian is a recognized Industry 4.0 strategist who guides manufacturers, logistics leaders and tech vendors in turning emerging technologies into concrete business value. He steers clients through the selection and deployment of Industrial IoT, digital twins, 5G/6G, edge and quantum computing, and has led over 100 innovation projects across automotive, future logistics, e-mobility, smart grids, healthcare and cognitive cities.
For more than 15 years, Christian has driven industrial digitalization—heading IT Management and Innovation Labs at FIR / RWTH Aachen, founding and leading the Center Connected Industry, and serving as Managing Director of the Enterprise Integration Center Aachen GmbH before joining top-tier strategy consulting.
Christian holds academic degrees in Physics and Economic Sciences from RWTH Aachen University, with additional studies abroad at Polytech Orléans and University of Orléans.
