Michael Meissner is responsible at Detecon for the consulting business in the environment of business process management as well as digitization and application consulting with a special focus on purchasing and supply chain management. For more than 20 years, he has been shaping transformation processes in this context with our clients to improve efficiency or excellence.

Michael studied industrial engineering with a focus on computer integrated manufacturing. Already during his studies and during his further professional years, he was involved as a management consultant for process optimization, automation and digitalization (e.g. via digital prototyping in the development environment or by integrating tools and standard applications in business processes).

Artificial intelligence, smart bots, intelligent analysis tools and process mining today provide the basis for digitization of processes in which data and information are the central link. With this experience and expertise, Michael today supports customers in almost all industries, especially telecommunications, public and manufacturing in extracting digitization potential in processes.

The principles of Business Process Management have not changed in all these years and will continue to do so. What opportunities does digitization provide for the orchestration of processes, for example in the direction of complete autonomy, improved customer experience, prediction or data-based networking of processes and information?   He is currently addressing these questions with his customers, primarily in the DACH region.
