Szymon Lis

Szymon Lis leads Telco Cloud Consulting Area and co-lead Backbone, SDN/NFV Tribe. He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Technical University of Lublin in Poland, as well as Project Management and Finance at Warsaw School of Economics.

He has been in the telecommunication industry for more than 15 years leading consulting projects, and network rollouts at telecom operators. In 2016 he moved to the consulting side at Detecon and is now responsible for supporting carriers and enterprises in their cloud-based journeys.

Szymon advises clients especially on cloud-based network strategies, architectures, planning, assessing infrastructures and implementation. He is also supporting customers in the area of Edge and partnering with hyperscalers.

Numerous articles, studies and interviews have emerged from his insights and ideas around cloudification of networked infrastructure and services digitalization. In addition, Szymon has been publishing regularly in Detecon's successful "Future Telco" series.
