When did you work for Detecon and in what role?
I worked for Diebold/Detecon from 1994 to 2005. At the beginning as a Consultant, then in the management of the Market Division Insurance or Financial Service, respectively.
What were your most exciting Detecon moments?
The time at Diebold/Detecon was my most exciting professional time and influenced me in many things. No other company has given me so much experience, impressions and great colleagues. How valuable this time was only becomes clear in retrospect. Exciting moments were e.g. a big project strategy development for VISANA in Switzerland, where we stood up to McKinsey.
What are you doing today?
I am Managing Director of ITyX Technology, an international technology company that develops software for communication based on computational linguistics and artificial intelligence. My consulting experience helps me to find my way into processes quickly and to make optimal use of technology. Currently we have reorganized and offer an AI Omnichannel platform, an AI service desk and with one of our startups fileee a C2B platform.
What did you particularly appreciate about your job at Detecon and what do you miss about this time?
For me, the defining feature was the mixture of many elements: the open communication and culture of dispute, the close cooperation of troupers and greenhorns, the diverse range of tasks from project work, studies and writing articles, serious and fun moments, structures and freedoms. I appreciated colleagues with a strong personality.
