Jürgen Jägersberger

Jürgen Jägersberger is a Managing Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in technical and management functions in the telco industry. He has designed, built and operated networks and services as vendor, operator and consultant and been leading transition and transformation of organizations and technologies over their lifecycle.

Jürgen started his professional career with Siemens as engineer for customer projects in Europe and Africa. In 2001 he joined Detecon to start up operators in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East and remained with the company on global assignments to Romania, Indonesia and Canada. After a brief stint with Analysys Mason he was hired by Millicom as Regional Operations Director for Africa overseeing the transition and transformation of seven operating companies to a newly defined operating model, also introducing new infrastructure sharing and “as a Service” arrangements. Jürgen rejoined Detecon in 2019 and has since been posted in the Middle East for Technology Strategy and Technology Finance projects.

Jürgen is engaging with our clients in search for operational excellence, merger and acquisition projects, joint venture and special purpose vehicle initiatives, advising Chief Technology Officers on efficiencies and in strategic decisions related to their operating model.
