Alexandru Banu

Alex has a 15 years carrier in telecommunication with focus on wholesale and strategy. Originally at home in the world of mobile wholesaling - roaming and interconnection -, Alex has joined Detecon in 2016 as a Senior Consultant. Before, he worked in his native country Romania, Germany and Saudi Arabia, holding inclusively mid-management positions as strategy supervisor in Saudi Telecom.

Alex has used his wholesale and strategy focus in more than 10 projects in Detecon, from Mexico to Brunei, from Djibouti to Luxembourg. He is showing his industry forward looking perspective by regular contributions to Detecon’s trademark on the topic, Future Telco. Alex is a certified project manager, holding a certification in Prince 2 Foundation.

Besides the deep telco knowledge, the key assets Alex is bringing to his clients are customer orientation, consulting toolbox, e.g. structuring and presentation, focus on the tasks to be achieved and the friendly approach.
