From the Company Rebuilding podcast series
Apotheken Umschau, with over eight million copies in print, is Germany's highest-circulation magazine. As early as the late 1990s, its publishers at Wort & Bild Verlag recognized the potential of digitization and began consistently combining their print offerings with digital content. The Corona crisis did the rest to further accelerate this process of digital transformation: Analog processes were transferred to digital within a few days, complete production was moved to the home office, and at the same time, Wort & Bild Verlag's scientifically based content was more in demand than ever.
In a conversation with podcast host Volker Rieger, Dr. Dennis Ballwieser, Managing Director of Wort & Bild Verlag and Editor-in-Chief of Apotheken Umschau, talks about this eventful company history and the relevance of reliable health information in the digital age.
The podcast is only available in german language.
