Nikolaos has been in the consulting business for a more than 25 years and has a lot of fun researching innovative solutions for and together with customers and implementing them in a practical and beneficial way. What makes this job special for him is the repeated pushing of his own and the limits of what is possible.

Nikolaos focus is on the insurance industry and implementation of complex automation solutions in customer management and case handling processes, as it is a challenging and interesting field for him. In his opinion, designing new solutions with a functioning interplay of people, applications and processes requires the courage to take risks and adopt new approaches with no guarantees of success. And for him, that's exactly what makes his job so appealing.

Studying computer science with a minor in business administration and earning a doctorate in software engineering gave Nikolaos the necessary foundations for abstract thinking in complex systems and networks. He also gained important experience about the behavior of people in complex systems in many of his projects.

Currently his main activities are consulting in customer projects and project management tasks, coaching of customer projects, sales and customer service as well as market and topic development, marketing actions and Detecon market development in the field of insurance.
