Dr. iur. Albert Njoume

Dr. iur. Albert Njoume is Senior Manager in the Chapter “Communications Industries” at Detecon, with more than 17 years in consulting, especially in the telecoms and ICT sector, in more than 35 countries (Europe, Africa, MENA and Asia).

After studies and doctorate in law in Germany, he embraced a diversified professional career including stations such as legal consulting with a lawyer’s office in Leipzig (Germany), development cooperation with the federal ministry (BMZ) in Bonn and German development agency (DED) Burkina Faso,  telecoms business with T-Mobile International and Deutsche Telecom in Bonn. Before joining Detecon, he led regulatory affairs at Celtel (“Airtel”) Madagascar.

His area of focus includes support to regulatory authorities, ministries and operators in policy, legal and regulatory strategies for telecoms and broadcasting business in a digital economy.
