I worked at Detecon from the beginning of 2010 until the end of 2012, first in Corporate Finance in the Practice 'Strategy & Marketing', later in the Cluster 'Services'. After graduating from university, I started as a Business Analyst and left as a Consultant..
Which were your most exciting moments at Detecon?
There were a lot! I was lucky enough to work on many exciting projects, for example the master plan at T-Systems or the development of functional controlling in DTAG's innovation division. I also appreciated the trainings, whether in-house or in Vaals. The transformation of Detecon into the new clusters and the move to Cologne are certainly also among my personal highlights.
What are you working on today?
I have been in the worldwide hosting business of United Internet/1&1 for more than 4 years and have been responsible for corporate development since mid-2015. In addition to strategy development, we also work on topics from strategic business development and M&A projects. Detecon has given me a good basis for my future career.
What did you appreciate most about your job at Detecon and what do you miss about that time?
I really liked the flexibility of the working conditions and the opportunity to work on many exciting topics from different areas. The exchange with my colleagues and the great office in Cologne, are two aspects that are still on my mind. By the way: I have not seen such a green office space anywhere else.
