The man who brought TED Talks to Germany
Stephan Balzer from Berlin is one of the most distinctive personalities in the German communications industry. He brought the TED Talks event format to Germany and organized a series of TEDx conferences. Today, among other things, he is an ambassador for the Californian Singularity University, which deals with the topic of artificial intelligence from various aspects. Stephan Balzer knows what he is talking about: he has realigned his own company red onion several times. "Creative destruction is part of it: parting with certain areas of the business in order to renew the company again and again and reinventing yourself with the team," he says. "I'm always looking for new challenges because I can't keep doing the same thing for 20, 30 years. I need to evolve."
Janosch Geiger spoke with him about the challenges of the present and the opportunities of the future. The podcast is only available in german language.
