Eve Hunter works as a Senior Manager in Detecon's Digital Engineering Center. She focuses on defining risk-based security requirements and strategies and implementing sustainable security ecosystems. 

After graduating from Smith College with a degree in Chinese Language and Literature, Eve began her career in nuclear security research and policy. In 2014, she switched to the cybersecurity field and moved to Estonia to pursue her MSc in Cybersecurity. In her thesis, she evaluated available cybersecurity policies for nuclear power plants.  

Eve previously led the internal implementation of security for a start-up and served as project manager for the development of a hardware security platform for the U.S. Navy. She is particularly interested in critical infrastructure security, risk management, and international collaboration, and her work contributes to more collaborative, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches to cybersecurity.
