Shaping the Smart Society
Public administration is in a state of transformation – digitalization of government services, provision of high-performance digital infrastructures, or the guarantee of cyber-security are preparing the road to a modern society. The objective is to exploit the potential in digitalization and to focus technologies on the modernization of government. Detecon supports government agencies and offices and public institutions in shaping the administration of tomorrow at the federal, state, and local levels.
The Online Access Act (OZG) has an important role to play in the digitalization of public administration. Simply creating online access will not be adequate to create real added value for citizens and administrations. The automation of downstream processes and procedures will make performance of back-end administrative tasks faster while simultaneously improving quality. If these processes are linked to online services without any media disruptions and, at the same time, the urgently needed harmonization of centrally managed registers takes place, Germany will make a genuine leap forward in e-government. In this vein, Detecon supports federal, state and local authorities in the implementation of the OZG.
Detecon stands out during the conduct of digital projects in the public sector thanks to a combination of profound understanding of the technical and strategic requirements and competence in technology and implementation. We have the skills and competencies needed to guide and support projects and assume responsibility for results – from strategy and conception to implementation.
