Network Performance & Implementation Management
Modern Network Infrastructures for High Reliability
Technology platforms and the physical infrastructure are the basis and production foundation for all modern telecommunications and IT services and related products. At the same time they represent the largest investments, especially for network operators.
Starting from a strategic top-down planning approach (à see Network Architecture Strategy), Detecon accompanies its clients throughout complex bidding procedures, and then manages the roll-out, implementation, and migration of large networks and platforms on behalf of the client. In addition, we design testing and prototyping environments as well as tools for quality management. We have outstanding expertise in the overlapping areas between information technology and telecommunications – in the set-up of platforms for convergent telecommunications services, for example.
Measures to optimize and consolidate networks and IT platforms are now mandatory for all companies. If they are neglected, not only will operating costs get out of hand, but also the required freedom to make strategically oriented investments will be endangered. Moreover, increasing competitive pressure often means that the applications have to exhibit improved quality and cost parameters. We are leaders in the analysis of quality and cost factors of existing infrastructures and technology platforms and in the identification of potential which has not yet been exploited.
This analysis covers all relevant processes and KPIs. Building on this, we draw up strategy, design, and implementation schedules for a stable and flexible production and service infrastructure. We then go on to specify the resulting organizational requirements and to re-engineer the business processes accordingly. The design of sophisticated strategy concepts is not our only concern; we also seek to realize them seamlessly in cooperation with the client.
We also understand business excellence to mean that our solutions function profitably for the client. Since cost control is often the central driver for consolidation measures, our methodology reflects this as a key factor.
