Our Career Concept

The Career Concept provides the basis for your career development as a consultant at Detecon. Every consultant level is described as a mixture of certain criteria and responsibilities. As you rise from one career level to the next, the responsibility for sales, project delivery, or topic development also increases, depending on your individual focus.

Project management is not tied to a particular career level at Detecon. Nor is management responsibility within Detecon automatically coupled to a specific consultant level.
Training program and the amount of the variable salary component are linked to the Career Concept.

Your Advancement at Detecon

Promotion rounds take place at regular intervals. In making our decisions, we consider a large body of information from your previous development. The most fundamental prerequisite for a promotion is that you have the confidence in yourself to take over additional responsibilities and actively wish to do so. Generally speaking, our consultants spend an average of 1.5 years gaining experience at each career level.  In addition, taking the step to the next career level requires successful participation in the relevant training program. However, the most important criterion is whether you continuously exceed a significant majority of the criteria at your current career level.

Successful project work would be virtually impossible without our professional service functions. Competent service staff takes care of a multitude of tasks so that our consultants can concentrate fully on the project work for the client. Our competence model supports individual development in the service functions.
