Can Competence Be Learned?

Being a consultant means being well-rounded: keen analytic skills and profound knowledge must join with social finesse in client projects so that new solutions can be implemented.

Moreover, consulting always means dealing with established practices and people’s reservations about change. Our training programs, which are coordinated to take into account the requirements of the various career levels, prepare you to meet these challenges.

Career Development / Qualification

Individual training

In addition to the corporate training program, every consultant has personal needs for further training. We believe that the desire to learn something new is worth encouraging and will support you if, for example, you decide to earn a doctorate, an MBA, or specific professional certifications such as CFA or PMP.

Networking and the sharing of ideas and experience with others are absolutely essential for your progress. We make sure this happens by maintaining ongoing programs:
  • The “New Colleagues Day” communicates what newcomers must know about working at Detecon.
  • The “Young Consultant Network” and the “Mentoring Program” support young colleagues during the first months of their consultant lives.
  • The “Young Consultant Foreign Program” offers young consultants an opportunity to transfer to an international Detecon office for six months.
The “Detecon University” serves as a platform for the exchange of information about new topics and project experience.
