Work-Life Balance

No One Can Expect to Perform at Peak Levels If He or She Does Not Have Balance in His or Her Life.

True – we demand a lot from our consultants in complex projects: a realistic appraisal of new strategies and innovative technologies as well as the related options – for clients, products, processes, or staff. New concepts and their goal-oriented implementation demand intense commitment on the part of our consultants in the projects. Concentration and quality must be maintained throughout the project, especially in the critical phases.

After such critical phases, it is necessary to “cool down” again so that you can keep a clear head. That is why we try to conduct the project work in accordance with the 5-4-3 rule: 5 days of project work, 4 of them at the client’s place of business with 3 overnight stays. This leaves enough time for families and personal interests. If major changes occur, e.g., the birth of a child, we seek ways to enable the best possible combination of job and family. Naturally, the client projects have top priority when it comes to scheduling a workday at the site. In the office, we have flexible working hours based on trust: as long as the work is done in good time and the quality standard is met, when it is done is completely irrelevant. So peak workloads can be combined with individual time requirements for personal matters.
