Joachim Stahl (CEO)
Joachim Stahl has been chief executive officer at Detecon International since May 2008. He was previously head of the division Telecommunications and member of the Executive Board, responsible for the business relationships between Detecon and the group Deutsche Telekom AG as well as between Detecon and the European Telco Carriers. He has had significant experience in the organizational design and setup of national and international marketing and sales units. Further steps in his career took him to Compaq Computer and Hewlett-Packard, where he was active for several years as global account manager for the group Deutsche Telekom AG. Starting in 1991, he was sales director for the telecommunications industry at Tandem Computers. The holder of a degree in business administration began his professional career in the sales department at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1986.

Robin Euler, Managing Partner, is a member of the Executive Board and has been head of the Industry Practice “Telecommunications” since 2008. He is responsible for the national and international business relationship of Detecon to Deutsche Telekom. He was previously a partner at Detecon (Schweiz) AG, where he had worldwide responsibility for the topic of financial management. During his more than 7 years of work as a consultant, Robin Euler has gained international project experience related to the topics of strategy, corporate finance, restructuring, and financial management in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries. Before he joined Detecon, Robin Euler worked for a strategy consulting company in Germany. Robin Euler studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and earned an MBA at Western Illinois University in the USA.

Hans-Werner Feick has been a member of the Detecon Executive Board and responsible for the business division “Industries & Services” since 1 January 2005. He directs all of the consulting activities in the industries financial services, high-tech industries, utilities, travel and transport, digital media and online services, and automotive and manufacturing. Hans-Werner Feick has been working for Detecon since 1999 and prior to his present position was director of the Competence Group ICT Organization. He has the expertise of many years in ICT, finances, and restructuring. After completing his studies in industrial engineering, he began his career with a large service provider, where he was the head of IT and responsible for the strategic realignment of the company’s IT and core service processes.

He is currently the director of the Competence Practice “Information Technology” and advises the CTOs and CIOs of large companies. He is responsible for innovation management and acts as coordinator for the scientific Advisory Board. His consulting competence covers strategic technology and innovation management as enablers and drivers for strategic corporate design. Dr. Götz came to Detecon in 1995 and built up the new Competence Practice “Technology Strategy”. He began his professional career in 1990, after graduating with a degree in physics and computer science and spending time at the CERN and Stanford, by founding a small, well-known ICT consulting company.

Sebastian Krems has headed the Competence Practice “Communications Technology” since 2005 and is managing partner and member of the Detecon Executive Board. The Practice focuses on the strategy, conception, and implementation of innovative network architectures and communication platforms in the fixed network and wireless sector. Before coming to Detecon Sebastian was general manager at Berlikomm and BerlinNet GmbH for a total of five years. Prior to this he directed product management for access networks at Robert Bosch GmbH. He holds a degree in communications technology and has been active in the telecommunications industry since 1990; he began his professional career at Alcatel, where he was involved in the development and international market launch of the mobile network standard GSM.

The engineer brings along extensive experience in customer and solution development in the consulting business. After completing an international trainee program at Siemens-Nixdorf in the Consulting division and spending some time in South Africa, Günter Krieglstein moved to the Consulting section of the accounting and consulting firm KPMG in 1994. Günter Krieglstein directed reorganization and implementation projects in various industries and worked on harmonization and IT strategies. In 2000, he was promoted to partner at KPMG and assumed responsibility for the consulting portfolio of several account teams as well as other duties. When the KPMG consulting division was spun off into the international management and technology consultancy BearingPoint Inc., Günter Krieglstein directed the Supply Chain Management division for a number of industrial segments.

Dr. Eckart Pech has a wealth of international experience in Management and Technology Consulting in the IT, Telecoms and Media industries. In his current position as President and CEO of Detecon, Inc., he is responsible for the Americas region. Prior to his current role he was a Managing Partner with Detecon International and served on the company´s Executive Committee. Before joining Detecon Dr. Pech was a Partner in the Consulting firm Diebold with responsibilities for Mobile Operators and ISPs. In addition to that he has been working for Hewlett Packard´s testing division and helped foreign companies in launching investments in China. Dr. Pech has studied Business Administration and Chinese at the University of Bayreuth and the Shanghai International Studies University. He obtained his Phd. in Business Administration at the University of the Armed Forces in Munich. Dr. Pech is a member of the German American Business Council and the Executive Advisory Board of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC). He is also a Young Leader Alumnus of the American Council on Germany.
