Dr. Klaus Hofmann (CEO)
Dr. Klaus Hofmann has been chief executive officer at Detecon International since January 2004. He was previously responsible for worldwide merger and acquisition activities for the Deutsche Telekom Group and was involved in drawing up strategies in the former executive division ‘International’. From 1998 the accredited physicist had performed the duties of chief technical officer at the telecommunications company TRI/CelCom on behalf of Deutsche Telekom. Overall, Dr. Hofmann has been working for the Deutsche Telekom Group since the end of 1996 and was initially responsible for the joint venture business in Eastern Europe and development projects for new business at T-Mobile. Prior to this his career included work at Robert Bosch GmbH and Alcatel, and he was involved in the early development of the digital mobile network standard GSM.

Andreas Baumann (CFO)
Andreas Baumann has been Chief Financial Officer at Detecon International and consequently a member of the Executive Board as well since March 2009. He previously worked at T-Systems South Africa, also in the role of CFO, from 2005. But all in all Baumann has been a part of the Deutsche Telekom Group since 1995, although he initially was a member of the unit Treasury. From 1999 on, he was the director of the department Global Financial Management and from 2000 on director of the department Money Market and Currencies. In addition to his line activities, Baumann was also the commercial manager of the two financial investment limited companies (GmbH) Global Satelliten-Beteiligungs-Holding and DT-Satelliten-Holding. Andreas Baumann earned his academic degree at the University of Bamberg, where he majored in business administration.

Hans-Werner Feick (Managing Partner)
Hans-Werner Feick has been a member of the Detecon Executive Board and responsible for the business division “Industries & Services” since 1 January 2005. He directs all of the consulting activities in the industries financial services, high-tech industries, utilities, travel and transport, digital media and online services, and automotive and manufacturing. Hans-Werner Feick has been working for Detecon since 1999 and prior to his present position was director of the Competence Group ICT Organization. He has the expertise of many years in ICT, finances, and restructuring. After completing his studies in industrial engineering, he began his career with a large service provider, where he was the head of IT and responsible for the strategic realignment of the company’s IT and core service processes.

Dr. Karl-Michael Henneking (Managing Partner)
Dr. Karl-Michael Henneking has been managing partner and head of the Competence Practice “Strategy & Marketing” since 2004 and is a member of the Detecon Executive Board. He focuses in particular on advising telecommunications companies during the development and implementation of their business models and strategies; he has worked for clients in more than 30 different countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Dr. Henneking studied business administration with a focus on marketing and, prior to joining Detecon, worked as an academic staff member at the University of Hamburg, where he also earned his doctorate.

Günter Krieglstein (Managing Partner)
Günter Krieglstein, Managing Partner, is a member of the Executive Board and has been head of the Competence Practice Organization since 2008. The engineer brings along extensive experience in customer and solution development in the consulting business. After completing an international trainee program at Siemens-Nixdorf in the Consulting division and spending some time in South Africa, Günter Krieglstein moved to the Consulting section of the accounting and consulting firm KPMG in 1994. Günter Krieglstein directed reorganization and implementation projects in various industries and worked on harmonization and IT strategies. In 2000, he was promoted to partner at KPMG and assumed responsibility for the consulting portfolio of several account teams as well as other duties. When the KPMG consulting division was spun off into the international management and technology consultancy BearingPoint Inc., Günter Krieglstein directed the Supply Chain Management division for a number of industrial segments.

Dr. Hans-Peter Petry (Managing Partner)
Dr. Hans-Peter Petry holds a doctorate in physics. He has been employed as a Managing Partner at Detecon since 2006. In the first time, he has been the head of the Group "Radio Access and Transport". Since April 2009 he is the manager of the "Communication Technology" Competence Practice (CI). He is simultaneously appointed to the Executive Board of Detecon. Dr. Petry is the author of numerous publications focusing on radio technology and has tremendous experience in the field of wireless technologies and their applications in the telecommunications sector. His many years of management experience in the manufacturing environment have come from positions at Bosch Telecom, Marconi, Ericsson, and others. While at these companies, he held various managerial positions in the fields of development, product management, and business development.

Dr. Sven Wolter (Managing Partner)
In his position as Managing Partner and member of the Executive Board, Dr. Sven Wolter has been responsible for the international Competence Practice "Information Technology" since 2010; his primary consulting clients are the CTOs and CIOs of large companies. In his work, he pursues a holistic consulting approach which merges strategic management consulting, organizational and processing consulting, and outstanding technology expertise. Dr. Wolter joined Detecon (Schweiz) AG in 2005, where he was a member of the senior management and highly successful in establishing and expanding the competence unit "ICT Management". After earning his degree in economic sciences and his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, he began his professional career with a North American software company before moving to a renowned international consulting company, where he gained experience in many projects around the world, especially in the sectors financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, and the public sector.

Daniel Kellmereit (CEO, Detecon Inc.)
Daniel Kellmereit has experience in a variety of functional areas including strategy, technology, innovation, marketing and corporate development. In his current position as CEO of Detecon Inc. he is responsible for the North and South America region. Prior to his current role, Daniel led the San Francisco office of Detecon Inc. and was responsible for the Strategy & Innovation practice in the US. Daniel is working with a number of established global players and start-ups on strategic topics and the global launch of new services. His key clients include hardware, software, internet services and investment companies as well as fixed and mobile telecom carriers.
Prior to joining Detecon, Daniel was co-founder and CTO of EFM Technologies, a software and services firm where he headed up technology strategy, corporate development and professional services. He also worked with clients in information technology, communications and media at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Marc-Andreas Schultze (CEO, Detecon Asia Pacific)
Mr. Schultze is acting as Managing Director of Detecon Asia-Pacific Ltd. since 2005. He has 10 years experience in the IT- and Telecommunication industry, all in the consulting area in Asia-Pacific and Europe. Before joining Detecon Int. in 2002, Andreas Schultze worked 3 years for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), one of the worlds largest IT- and System Integrators. Within Detecon Asia-Pacific Ltd. he is responsible for the areas Strategy, Business Development & Sales and Consulting. His major fields of competence are strategic company planning, market entry strategies, mergers & acquisition, turnaround strategies, company restructuring as well as software development and integration. Andreas Schultze holds a master in business administration from the University of Wurzburg.

Robin Euler (Interim CEO, Detecon Schweiz AG)
Robin Euler was appointed to be CEO of Detecon (Schweiz) AG in July 2010, initially on an interim basis. Since May 2008, he had been a member of the Executive Board at Detecon International GmbH and director of the Industry Practice “Telecommunications”, managing the domestic and international business relationships with Deutsche Telekom. He was previously Partner at Detecon (Schweiz) AG, where he had worldwide responsibility for the topic of financial management. During his many years of work as a consultant, Robin Euler has gained international project experience related to the topics of strategy, corporate finance, restructuring, and financial management in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries. Before he joined Detecon, Robin Euler worked for a strategy consulting company in Germany. Robin Euler studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and earned an MBA at Western Illinois University in the USA.

Dr. Stefan Weigand (CEO, Detecon Consulting Co. Ltd., China)
Dr. Stefan Weigand has been CEO of Detecon Consulting Co. Ltd., located in Beijing, since 2003. His activities focus on strategic and operative marketing, controlling, and performance management for telecommunications companies. He has been active as a corporate consultant for 15 years, working for various international consulting companies. In 1996, the holder of a degree in business administration joined Detecon, where he built up the Practice Group Business Strategy, taking care of clients in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
