In the second case, you focus your work on a specific topic and apply what you know in projects for all industries. So you develop further both vertically and horizontally.

Exploit your potential to the full and become part of a network. The Consultants Network has been set up for our Consultants and Senior Consultants. The group’s activities aim to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience so that we here at Detecon can make the best possible use of the potential inherent in all of our consultants. Based on the motto “by equals for equals”, training programs focusing on practice-oriented methods and tools for project management and contact with clients are conducted in an atmosphere of trust. Last, but not least, the CN regularly organizes networking weekends where participants can share innovative ways of thinking and concepts, evolve ideas as a group, and expand their own networks.

Sharing and networking at an excellent level: the Detecon Managing Consultant Network is the network for our consultants with outstanding responsibility for projects and management. The focus of the regularly held events is on personal exchange and the active evolvement and development of consulting methods and topics. Communication and networking are aimed especially at innovative consulting approaches and the presentation of important “lighthouse projects”.

In addition to our open feedback culture and regular performance assessments, our diversified Detecon landscape will support you as you evolve professionally and personally – always along the lines of our 4 dimensions Project, Client, Knowledge, and People.

Your career development is primarily the responsibility of your People Development Leader. You will also be assigned a buddy and a mentor. Your buddy will help you to learn your way around the world of Detecon during the first six months. Your mentor, on the other hand, will be with you for a longer period and will focus on your personal development and career planning.

Corporate consultants work around the clock, are never at home, and do not have a personal life: a cliché, of course, but one with a kernel of truth. Our consultants work hard – no question. This is another area where we depend on breathing space, trust, and fairness. Obviously work has to be given priority during critical project phases. On the other hand, our consultants have plenty of freedom to make their own decisions when scheduling their working days and hours – without supervision or time clocks. We trust you to do a good job.
